About Shepard & Stone
A shepherd who seeks. A stone that holds.
We are a Christ-centered nonprofit that goes toward people in their darkest moments—and helps guide them toward safety, healing, community, and hope.
Who We Are
Followers of Jesus, going where the need is.
Shepard & Stone stands alongside people affected by human trafficking, addiction, and mental health struggles—connecting them with trusted resources, ministries, programs, and communities that can help.
Our Story
How it began
Our name draws from two biblical images: the Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to find the one, and the Stone—Christ, the firm foundation upon which broken lives can be rebuilt.

Why Christ Is at the Center
He is not an add-on. He is the foundation.
We serve everyone with dignity, regardless of faith. But we are honest about why we serve: because Jesus first loved us. His compassion, courage, and power to restore shape every part of how we work—alongside, never instead of, qualified professional care.
“For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”
