Our Mission
Meeting people in the darkness. Walking with them toward the Light.
01
Why we exist
Too many people face trafficking, addiction, and mental anguish alone—unsure where to turn and afraid of being judged. Shepard & Stone exists so that no one has to find the way back by themselves.
02
The problems we address
Exploitation that steals freedom. Addiction that fractures families. Anxiety, depression, trauma, and isolation that quietly crush the spirit. These are not distant issues—they are in our neighborhoods, our schools, and our pews.
03
How faith informs our work
We follow Jesus, who went toward the hurting. Faith gives us courage to enter hard places, compassion to see every person's dignity, and hope that no story is beyond redemption. We pair spiritual care with trusted professional resources—never one in place of the other.
04
How partnerships work
We are connectors. We work alongside churches, frontline organizations, treatment providers, licensed counselors, and community groups—helping people reach the right help at the right time.
05
How you make it possible
Donors fuel the work. Volunteers bring presence and skill. Partners extend our reach. Together we become a network of hope that can meet people wherever they are.
Our Foundation
“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.”
